Who we are

Our website address is https://creativeoptionsmarketing.com. Creative Options Marketing is a marketing agency based in Denver, Colorado. If you have questions about this policy or the personal data we hold about you, contact us through the form on our website.

What information we collect and why

Contact form submissions

When you submit a form on our site (for example, the contact form on our homepage or service pages), we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, company, and the message you send us. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and, if a business relationship develops, to communicate with you about our services.

Comments

If commenting is enabled on any post and you leave a comment, we collect the data shown in the comment form along with your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized hash of your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to display your profile picture — the Gravatar privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/.

Media

If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can potentially download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies so you don’t have to re-enter that information next time. These cookies last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When administrators log in, we set several cookies to save login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days and screen-option cookies last for a year. If “Remember Me” is selected, the login persists for two weeks. Logging out removes the login cookies.

If an administrator edits or publishes an article, an additional cookie will be saved in their browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article that was edited. It expires after one day.

Embedded content from other websites

Pages on this site may include embedded content — for example, videos, images, or articles hosted on other platforms. Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if you had visited the other website. Those third-party sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, including tracking your activity if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Google Analytics & Advertising

We use Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Google Ads to measure site traffic, evaluate marketing performance, and deliver personalized advertising. As part of these services:

  • Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data including pages visited, referring site, IP address (anonymized), device, and browser.
  • We use Google’s Enhanced Conversions feature, which sends hashed (one-way encrypted) customer data — such as email addresses submitted through our contact form — to Google for the purpose of measuring advertising conversions. This hashed data cannot be reversed to identify you personally.
  • We use Google’s Personalized Advertising feature to share audience lists with Google Ads so we can show relevant advertisements on other Google properties and partner sites.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or control ad personalization at https://adssettings.google.com.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate our business — primarily Google (Analytics, Search Console, Ads), our website hosting and email providers, and customer relationship management tools. If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically rather than holding them in a moderation queue.

Contact-form submissions and related correspondence are retained for as long as needed to manage our business relationship with you, plus a reasonable period afterward to comply with tax, legal, and record-keeping obligations.

For users who register on our website (if any), we store the personal information provided in their user profile. Users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, except they cannot change their username. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have submitted information through our website or left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. To make a request, contact us through the form on our site.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Information collected through Google’s services may be processed on servers outside your country of residence, in accordance with Google’s privacy practices.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
